Does anyone have any experience with running techtom customized ECUs on FI integras? Since the stock ECU isn't boost cognizant, how would you customize one for a boosted honda? I can see how you would change the timing to be more boost friendly, and I can see how you could fix the over rich condition on Type-R's. But I can't see how you could play with pulse length under boost. Does anyone have a techtom customized ECU on a boosted Teg?

Since the ECU gets a reading of extremely cold air under boost, can you just edit that fuel curve?

Dont bother with any of that stuff... or Apexi patch work.... been there done that .... not worth it ... im think of doing FULL stand alone... TEC2 or something by Electromotive...
Save yourself the hassels.... but make SURE you can find someone in you area to program these these things... it's not easy if your not familiar with them...

A custom chip can be done for $350 on an OBDI system. It has all the benefits of a stand alone, except that the program is not adjustable by you on the fly. But if it is done by a competent technician, it would be the best thing, other than a stand alone system. Techtom says you can do them for boost, I just don't know how.

Anyone got any personal experience with these on a boosted teg?

There was a guy in Montreal that had a turbo type r that just reprogramed his ecu to deal with boost. A local shop did the work and they suppose to be good i can not remember any of the contact info or the shop name.
